　　个人简介
　　杨周旺（Zhouwang Yang），男，福建省福安人。1993年从福建省宁德地区民族中学考入中国科学技术大学数学系就读本科；1997年毕业参加4－3分流，2000年取得“运筹学与控制论”专业硕士学位；随后留校任教，并于2005年获计算数学博士学位。2006．12--2007．11，在韩国首尔国立大学（Seoul National University）做博士后研究。2010．8--2011．8，在佐治亚理工学院工业与系统工程系（ISyE@GaTech）访学。2012年入选教育部新世纪优秀人才支持计划。
　　研究方向及兴趣：计算几何，最优化理论与算法，统计学习，压缩感知理论及应用。

　　教学情况
　　主讲过的本科生课程：
　　线性代数，数学建模，运筹学，计算方法，数理经济学等。
　　主讲过的研究生课程：
　　样条函数，逼近论，最优化算法等。
　　教学研究项目：
　　数学建模竞赛与教学（校级），2003．6--2005．5；
　　数学建模对创新能力培养的研究（省级），2005．1--2007．12。
　　2001年至2006年一直负责并承担我校的数学建模教改课程的教学以及中科大参加全国大学生数学建模竞赛和美国大学生数学建模竞赛的组织、选拔、培训、指导等工作，并取得优异成绩。期间中科大数模代表队共获得全国赛一等奖4个、二等奖10个和美国赛一等奖12个、二等奖13个。

　　科研情况
　　近来比较关注实际应用问题及其解决方法。
　　感兴趣的研究领域包括计算几何、最优化算法，统计学习，数据建模分析，压缩感知理论及应用。
