一、学科(专业)概况
Diciplines Instruction
本学科点于1978年开始建设,从研究金属材料热处理开始,是我国较早开展金属材料强韧化机理研究的学科点。1998年获得“材料加工工程”学科硕士学位授予权、2000年获得“材料学”学科硕士学位授予权、2004年获得“材料工程”领域工程硕士授予权,2011年获得“材料科学与工程” 一级学科硕士学位授予权,2014年获得“矿物材料与矿用新材料”二级学科博士学位授予权。
本学科现有专任教师40人,其中教授7人,博士生导师4人,副教授14人,具有博士学位教师15人,博士后出站5人,在读博士12人。其中,辽宁省百千万人才千人层次2人,辽宁省青年骨干教师1人和校青年科技标兵1人。
学院拥有“辽宁省地矿工程特种材料工程研究中心”和“辽宁省材料类专业实验教学示范中心”两个省级研究和实验中心,以及“材料分析测试中心”、“材料加工实验中心”、“高能束加工中心”三个校级院管实验室。实验中心拥有比较完善的实验教学仪器设备,现有扫描电镜、X射线衍射仪、高温金相、激光共聚焦显微镜、CO2激光加工器、等离子喷涂、电化学工作站、电子束焊机等大型设备,具备了解决材料科学应用基础问题与重大工程问题的能力,满足研究生培养的要求。
近年来,承担和完成国家自然科学基金(面上)项目3项、辽宁省教育厅创新团队项目2项、省部级基金项目10项,获省部级科研奖励3项,阜新市科学技术进步一等奖3项,8项国家发明专利得到授权。
 
The discipline was established in 1978, based on metal material heat treatment, which was earlier subject about the mechanism study of metal strengthening and toughing in China. Material Processing Engineering discipline is received the authority of awarding master degree in 1998; Material Science is received the authority of awarding master degree in 2000; Material Engineering is received the authority of awarding engineering master degree in 2004; Material Science and engineering as a First Level Discipline is received the authority of awarding master degree in 2011; Mineral Material and New Mine-using Material as a Second Level Discipline is received the authority of awarding doctor degree in 2014.
There are 40 professional teachers belonging to the subject, among them there are 7 professors, 4 doctoral supervisors, 14 associate professors, 15 teachers with doctor degree, 5 teachers out of Postdoctoral workstation, and 12 PHD candidates. In the staff, there are 2 elected members of the Project of “Millions of talents” of Liaoning Province, 1young excellent teacher approved by Liaoning Province and 1 elected as young technology model of LNTU.
The subject has “Special Materials Research Center of Geological and Mining Engineering in Liaoning Province” and “Experimental Teaching Demonstration Center of Materials Discipline in Liaoning Province” two provincial centers, “Materials Analysis and Testing Center”, “Materials Processing Laboratory Center”, “High-energy Beam Processing Center” three laboratories. There are some comparatively perfect experiment-teaching and research equipments, such as SEM, XRD, High Temperature Metallographic, Laser Confocal Scanning Microscopic, CO2 Laser Processing Instrument, Plasma Spraying, Electrochemical Workstation and Electron Beam Welding Machine etc, which have the ability of solving the basic problems and major engineering problems of material science, and meet the requirements of training the postgraduate.
Recently, the subject has undertaken and completed 3 National Natural Science Foundation Project, 2 innovation team projects of the provincial Education Department and 10 provincial projects. There are 3 provincial and ministerial level awards, 3 first awards of municipal science and technology progress and 8 national invention granted patents.
 
二、培养目标Training Objectives
本学科培养具备坚实的基础理论和较宽广的专业知识;较为熟练地掌握一门外国语;了解本学科理论研究和工程技术的前沿动态;具有一定的理论分析、试验研究及计算机技术方面的能力,能结合与本学科有关的实际问题从事科学研究或担负专门工程技术工作,并取得较系统的研究成果,从事金属材料、无机非金属材料、高分子材料以及计算材料学等领域的教学、科研、设计、管理或相关工程技术工作的高层次人才。
Training with a solid, systematic, broad-based theoretical knowledge of materials science and master material composition, organizational structure, equipment and processing technology and properties of the basic law of the relationship between the familiar with the material preparation and processing technology, understanding of the discipline's development history, current situation and development trends. Master a foreign language, and can rise to the new materials and new technology research and development, material design, production and management, and teaching of the senior professionals.
三、学制与学习年限(Program Length
学制:3年;学习年限(含休学、保留学籍): 2-5 年。原则上用1.25学年完成课程学习,用1.75学年完成学位论文。
Program Length:3years;Years of  Learning:2-5years .In principle, 1.25 year is used to complete the course study, 1.75 year is used to complete degree paper.

该方向主要研究基体材料、增强体材料成分、组织结构及成型工艺对复合材料力学性能的影响,为复合材料的设计制造进行基础研究。
Mainly studied the effects of matrix, reinforcements’   components, structures and processing on the mechanical properties of   composites, offering the supporting of the design of composites manufacture.
2 新能源材料

该方向主要进行新型二次电池、超级电容器等储能材料的研究和开发,其中以矿物为原料研发新型储能材料是本研究方向的主要特色之一。

3 新型非金属材料
New non-metal materials
该方向主要研究以无机物为主体的玻璃陶瓷石墨、矿物和以有机物为主体的木材塑料橡胶等一类材料的合成制备原理、技术,涉及这些材料的胶凝、耐火、隔热、阻燃、封堵、耐磨、导电、绝缘、耐腐蚀、半导体功能器件等相关性能和功能研究
The preparation technologies and properties of new   plastics alloy, rubber-plastic blending material, adhesive  are mainly   studied in this region. Cement, refractory, heat insulation, flame retardant,   sealing, wear resistance, conductivity, insulation, corrosion resistance,   related properties of semiconductor functional devices and functional study   of these materials
 
4 新型合金与凝固理论
New alloy and solidification theory
该方向集计算机技术、铸造技术、金属学等为一体,对新型的铝、铜、镁、锌等合金在快速凝固、半固态铸造、电磁场下凝固、定向凝固、高压凝固等凝固条件下的凝固理论,凝固组织与性能,凝固组织的控制,新型合金的制备进行研究。
This direction incorporates technology of   computer, casting technology, Metallography, etc. into an organic whole, and   give research on solidification theory of new type of aluminum, copper, magnesium, zinc, etc. in   the rapidly solidification, semi-solid casting, solidification of   electromagnetic fields, directional solidification, high pressure   solidification, the solidification structure and properties, the   solidification structure of control, the preparation of new alloys.
5 表面工程理论与技术
Theory and technology of surface engineering
该方向主要研究材料的表面科学理论与表面改性技术,材料表面改性微观机制与宏观性能的内在联系,培养学生具有材料表面改性理论、新涂镀层的设计、开发、制备以及提高材料表面性能与应用水平之能力。
Research on the surface of scientific   theory and surface modification technology, students should  have the ability   of design, development, preparation a new surface coating, thin film layer of   low-dimensional materials, the ability of improvement material surface   properties and the ability of the application level.
6 金属材料强韧化
Strengthening and Toughening of Metal
研究金属材料强度、韧性等力学指标合理配合,以及强韧化加工宏观性能及微观组织结构变化规律;研究高能量载能束对材料改性机制并进行宏观、微观表征及分析。培养学生对材料表面高能载能束改性及强韧化设计、开发及应用能力。
Research  on metal material   strength, toughness and other mechanical indicators of  reasonable   co-ordination as well as the processing of macro-toughening properties and   microstructure changes in law; study of high-energy beam on the material   contained can be modified mechanism and macro-and micro-characterization and   analysis. Students should have the ability of the design, development and   application on the material surface modification and high-energy beam set to   toughening.
7 焊接材料与焊接技术
Welding material and welding technology
主要研究焊接过程的冶金学问题、力学问题及焊接过程的自动化、高效化问题,领域涉及焊缝金属的结晶、强韧化、焊接热影响区组织和性能变化,新型焊接材料、焊接新工艺及焊接过程控制、焊接机器人等。
The metallurgy and   mechanics of welding process and its automatization and high efficiency are   mainly researched, and the crystallization, Strengthening and toughening of   weld metal, change of microstructure and property of HAZ, New type of welding   materials, new welding technology, controlling of welding Process. welding   robot are also involved.
8 材料计算与模拟
Computer Materials and Simulation
该方向融合计算机模拟、材料显微结构和材料的宏观性能等研究方法,在深层次的微观结构领域开展研究。主要研究材料的微观组织与宏观性能的内在联系,提出材料强韧化的微观机理,并结合计算机模拟技术,对材料微结构的未知领域进行探索,为新材料的开发以及现役材料性能的提高提供理论依据。
The   relationship between material microstructure and property is investigated by   calculation method. Not only material mechanics and electrics properties are   forecast, and the service process of material is simulated, but also the   material composition, microstructure, processing conditions and properties   are designed by theory calculation and simulation technology. The direction   cultivates the student ability to calculate correlated parameters of   different level structure in material, construct the relationship between the   structure parameters and material properties, and design new material by   calculation technology.
